Baseball Game Preview: Potomac Senior Panthers vs. Gar-Field Red Wolves

For the second straight game, Potomac Senior will face off against Gar-Field. The Panthers will challenge the Red Wolves at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, Potomac Senior came up short against Gar-Field and fell 7-4. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Red Wolves: they've now lost five in a row.

Potomac Senior saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sean Farry, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Farry is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played. Landon Jones also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

The win (which was Gar-Field's fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Potomac Senior, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
