On Friday, Vista Ridge didn't have too much trouble with Killeen on the road as they won 58-41.
Vista Ridge got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Gavin Howard out in front who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 14 rebounds. Luke Berry was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with 6 rebounds.
Vista Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Killeen, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vista Ridge will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Cedar Creek at 12:00 p.m. on December 1st. One thing working in Cedar Creek's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last seven contests. As for Killeen, they will head out on the road to face off against Round Rock Westwood at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Round Rock Westwood presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Killeen in Texas (Round Rock Westwood is ranked 89th, while Killeen is ranked 1377th).
