Baseball Recap: Naples Comes Up Short

Naples lost against Honeoye on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Big Green Machines fell 10-5 to the Bulldogs. The Big Green Machines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chase Bauman made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Naples' success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 2-1 (and 3-5 when he doesn't).

Naples now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Honeoye, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4.
