Volleyball Recap: Samson Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Samson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Slocomb Red Tops. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Tops this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Samson sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 21-25, 25-17, 15-25, 15-10.

Samson's loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Slocomb, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-9.

Samson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Slocomb, they will take on Eufaula at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.
