Basketball Recap: Valor Preparatory Academy Knights vs. Cleburne Christian Academy Lions
The Valor Preparatory Academy Knights can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 55-10 win over Cleburne Christian Academy. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-8.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Valor Preparatory Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Elyse Mason, who scored 18 points. Ellie Buck was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Valor Preparatory Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for Cleburne Christian Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Valor Preparatory Academy will be playing at home against the at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cleburne Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on the Spartans at 5:00 p.m. on February 15th. DasCHE is on a three-game streak of home losses, the Lions a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change.
