Volleyball Game Preview: Milton Red Hawks vs. Beaver Dam Golden Beavers

The Milton Red Hawks are taking a road trip to take on the Beaver Dam Golden Beavers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Milton is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest loss since September 4th on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to Edgewood. The defeat continues a trend for the Red Hawks in their meetings with the Crusaders: they've now lost three in a row.

While Milton was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-23, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Beaver Dam came up short against Oregon on Tuesday and fell 3-1. While the Golden Beavers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Panthers 25-19 in the first set.

Beaver Dam started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-18, 25-19, 25-20.

Milton's loss dropped their record down to 19-11. As for Beaver Dam, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-15.

Milton skirted past Beaver Dam 2-1 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Do the Red Hawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Golden Beavers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
