Kuna won the last time they faced Caldwell and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Kuna Kavemen blew past the Caldwell Cougars 17-5. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Kavemen.
Rylee Mangum was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-2. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Ronge, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances.
Kuna's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Caldwell, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kuna will take on Preston at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kuna is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.6 runs per game this season. As for Caldwell, they will square off against Bishop Kelly at 5:00 p.m. on March 25th. Bishop Kelly also hasn't been messing around on offense: they've averaged 10.7 runs per game.
