Basketball Game Preview: Friends' Central vs. Chambersburg Trojans

Friends' Central and the Chambersburg Trojans will round out the year against one another at at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Friends' Central has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Last Saturday, Friends' Central came up short against Germantown Academy and fell 71-64. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Thursday (59), Friends' Central still had to take the loss.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Pat Feamster, who went 9 of 16 en route to 21 points and five steals. Those five steals gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Oben Mokonchu, who went 6 of 10 on his way to 20 points.

Meanwhile, Chambersburg earned a 50-37 win over Wilson on Monday. The 50-point effort marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Friends' Central's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-9. As for Chambersburg, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.
