Both teams will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Kirby Prep can now show off three landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. Everything went their way against Anzar as Kirby Prep made off with a 47-27 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Kirby Prep has posted yet this season.

Kirby Prep's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nate Kawasaki, who scored 13 points along with seven steals and six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Kawasaki has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Rain Li, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and two steals.

Pacific Collegiate can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 69-30 victory over Ceiba College Preparatory Academy on the road. Pacific Collegiate's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Kirby Prep has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-6 record this season. As for Pacific Collegiate, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-6.
