West Shamokin waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Penns Manor Comets 18-1. Considering the Wolves have won nine matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Leah Mondi was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

In other batting news, Zoe Bennett was incredible, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. Evie Grantz was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

West Shamokin's victory bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Penns Manor, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Shamokin will head out to square off against River Valley at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Penns Manor, they will challenge Ferndale at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
