Lutheran lost to Air Academy back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Lions won by a goal and slipped past the Kadets 2-1. That's two games straight that Lutheran have won by just one goal.

Abby Megill was the driving force of Lutheran's attack as she scored both of Lutheran's goals, bringing her season total up to six goals.

Lutheran is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for Air Academy, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lutheran will head out to challenge Golden at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Golden will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Lutheran surely won't give up without a fight. As for Air Academy, they will venture away from home to square off against Lewis-Palmer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
