Basketball Game Preview: Southeast Guilford Falcons vs. Lexington Yellowjackets

The Southeast Guilford Falcons will face off against the Lexington Yellowjackets at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Southeast Guilford is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Page just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 58-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pirates. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Falcons came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 110th, while the Pirates are ranked 282nd).

Meanwhile, Lexington unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 43-32 to East Forsyth. The match marked the Yellowjackets' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Lexington's defeat dropped their record down to 11-2. As for Southeast Guilford, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5.
