Baseball Recap: St. Helena Takes a Loss

St. Helena fell victim to Kelseyville and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights. The Saints have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

St. Helena's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Kelseyville, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.

St. Helena and Kelseyville should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Saints will take on Lower Lake at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (391 vs. 1084). Meanwhile, Kelseyville (ranked 441st) will meet Middletown (ranked 948th) at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
