Volleyball Recap: Peshtigo Comes Up Short

Peshtigo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pulaski Red Raiders. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Red Raiders from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Despite the loss, Peshtigo saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Skylyn Baxter had five digs and two aces. Camryn Brissette also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Peshtigo's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Pulaski, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-7 record.

Peshtigo didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Shawano Community on the 13th. As for Pulaski, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Clintonville on the 13th.
