Basketball Recap: East Tech Victorious

East Tech's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 51-50 win over John Hay. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Scarabs also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

East Tech's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-5. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.5 points per game. As for John Hay, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.
