While Hamilton's win against Westchester wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Yankees skirted past the Comets 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Yankees have posted since March 24th.

Hamilton secured the win behind a pair of hitters. One of them was Abby Lawton, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Hamilton now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Westchester, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Hamilton is set to square off against their familiar foe Venice at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Westchester will face off against rival University at 2:30 p.m. on Monday.
