Soccer Recap: Willis Takes a Loss

Willis's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Grand Oaks Grizzlies by a score of 1-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Grizzlies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-2 back in February.

Willis now has a losing record of 9-10-4. As for Grand Oaks, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7-2 record this season.

Willis does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Grand Oaks, they will square off against Caney Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Grand Oaks will be up against Caney Creek's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.78 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
