New Albany hadn't beaten Grove City on the road since January 21, 2022 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Eagles walked away with a 47-40 victory over the Greyhounds. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 56-44 back in December of 2025.

New Albany's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Grove City, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. New Albany will square off against Hayes at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grove City, they will face off against Marysville at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The Monarchs will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Greyhounds surely won't give up without a fight.
