Basketball Game Preview: Yorktown Wildcats vs. Woodsboro Eagles

Yorktown is 2-8 against Woodsboro since December of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Yorktown Wildcats will look to defend their home court against the Woodsboro Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Yorktown will be strutting in after a win while Woodsboro will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Yorktown turned things around against Pettus on Friday. They came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 44-33.

Meanwhile, Woodsboro was beaten by Kenedy 92-57 on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Lions: they've now lost three in a row.

Woodsboro's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Yorktown, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-8.
