After flying high against Coolidge two weeks ago, Mount Calm came back down to earth. Mount Calm fell just short of the Bynum Bulldogs by a score of 10-9 on Thursday. Mount Calm was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Bynum earlier this season, when they won 11-0.

Bailey Garrett put in work no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over six innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. Garrett was even better at the plate, going 4-for-5 with three stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. He has become a key player for Mount Calm: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 2-4 otherwise.
