Baseball Recap: Raines Wins Going Away Against FAMU DRS

Raines won the last time they faced FAMU DRS and things went their way on Saturday too. The Vikings put the hurt on the Baby Rattlers with a sharp 19-10 victory. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won four games by nine runs or more so far this season.

William Cobb was incredible, scoring four runs while going 4-for-4. He is becoming a predictor of Raines' success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 3-1 (and 1-3 when he doesn't). TYRESE Burton was another key player, scoring two runs while going 3-for-2.

The win got Raines back to even at 4-4. As for FAMU DRS, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.

Raines wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 17-2 loss against Stanton on the 2nd. As for FAMU DRS, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 21-0 defeat against St. John Paul II on the 2nd.
