North Monterey County extended their winning streak to four on Wednesday, bumping their season record up to 11-9 in the process. They came out on top against the Everett Alvarez Eagles by a score of 8-3. The Condors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Jered Kallenberger spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on five hits and racked up ten Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Greg Jimenez, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Leo Cruz, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: North Monterey County kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

As for Everett Alvarez, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season. Their loss continues a trend for the squad, making it six in a row.

On Everett Alvarez's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cody Victoriano, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

North Monterey County will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
