Horse Creek Academy won the last time they faced Ridge Spring-Monetta and things went their way on Friday too. The Stallions were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over the Trojans. The result was nothing new for the Stallions, who have now won eight matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Bryce Gunter made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI.

In other batting news, Connor Kanagy was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. He has become a key player for Horse Creek Academy: the team is 7-2 when he posts at least two runs, but 2-8 otherwise. Cameron English was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
