Basketball Recap: Loris Skates Past Aynor with Ease

You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Loris's strategy against Aynor on Wednesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Loris Lions blew the Aynor Blue Jackets out of the water with a 64-18 final score. That looming 64-18 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Lions yet this season.

Loris can attribute much of their success to JACOBIEN LEWIS, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten boards. LEWIS has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was MARK MILLER, who posted nine points and six rebounds.

Loris smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in six consecutive matchups.

Despite the loss, Aynor still got an impressive performance from Robinson Mendez, who had eight points.

Loris has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.4 points per game. As for Aynor, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12.
