Softball Recap: West Lincoln Takes a Loss

West Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 13-5 to the Choctaw Central Warriors.

Kaylee Wallace was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4. Rainee Martin also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

West Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Choctaw Central, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

West Lincoln has already played their next contest, a 13-5 defeat against Ethel on the 1st. As for Choctaw Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 16-6 win against Starkville on the 3rd.
