Baseball Recap: Beulah Wins Going Away Against Dadeville

Beulah barely beat Dadeville the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bobcats put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 12-2 victory on Friday. The Bobcats not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since March 4th.

Jadin Hancock made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Wes Grant was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Asher Arnett was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Beulah always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .543. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Beulah's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-9. As for Dadeville, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-14.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Beulah beat the Tigers by a score of 13-0 later that day.
