Del Norte has gone a perfect 10-0 against South Park recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. Having just played yesterday, the Del Norte Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the South Park Burros at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Del Norte is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Sanford on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Del Norte was beaten by Sanford 75-46. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 247th, while the Mustangs are ranked 100th).

Meanwhile, South Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 58-33 to Trinidad.

Del Norte's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for South Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-15.

Del Norte skirted past South Park 29-27 in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Del Norte since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
