Baseball Recap: Fairport's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

After flying high against Wayne last Friday, Fairport came back down to earth. The Red Raiders fell just short of the Webster Schroeder Warriors by a score of 4-2 on Monday. The Red Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Fairport's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-3. As for Webster Schroeder, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Webster Schroeder will take on Victor at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fairport will be paying especially close attention to the Warriors' match: after the Warriors face off against the Blue Devils, they'll take on Fairport again at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
