Mt. Clemens scaled the state rankings by moving to 426 from 468 this week, the biggest jump in Macomb Area - Bronze. The Battling Bathers were able to move up by defeating Warren Woods-Tower 21-20.

Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Clintondale beat South Lake 44-0. The win marks ninth in a row for the the Dragons.

Ty Sparks threw for 206 yards and 2 touchdowns. He went 12-17 with 0 interceptions.

Sparks put up the best numbers through the air as Clawson bested East Detroit. Sparks' favorite target this week was Marquian Johnson, who caught 3 passes for 120 yards.

The Trojans' Sparks and Johnson led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-0 quarterback Sparks has thrown for 2,059 yards this season, while Johnson has 55 catches for 1,218 yards. Lincoln's Derrel Stewart leads the league in rushing yards with 693.
