Basketball Preview: Benton Panthers vs. Hot Springs Trojans
Benton has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Hot Springs Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hot Springs took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Benton, who comes in off a win.
Last Friday, Benton earned a 45-37 win over the Bulldogs.
Meanwhile, Hot Springs was beaten by the Rams 68-26 on Tuesday. Hot Springs has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Benton has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Hot Springs, their loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-13.
Everything came up roses for Benton against the Trojans in their previous meeting back in January as the squad secured a 60-18 win. Will Benton repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
