Softball Recap: Woodstock Academy Takes a Loss

Woodstock Academy lost against Killingly two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Centaurs came up short against the Redmen, falling 20-2.

Woodstock Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grace Delsanto, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI. Those RBI marked the first that Delsanto has brought in this season.

Woodstock Academy now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Killingly, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Woodstock Academy will challenge East Lyme at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Killingly, they will square off against Putnam at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Redmen's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Clippers have averaged an impressive 13 runs per game this season.
