Volleyball Recap: Altoona-Midway Comes Up Short

Altoona-Midway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 24th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Paul Indians. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Jets of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Altoona-Midway was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring zero points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-0, 25-0.

Altoona-Midway's loss dropped their record down to 0-23. As for St. Paul, with the win, they broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 9-21.

Altoona-Midway does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Paul, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Northeast on the 14th.
