Basketball Recap: Daphne Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Daphne and Fairhope squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Daphne had to settle for second. They took a 71-57 bruising from the Fairhope Pirates. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, with their most recent defeat being a 91-65 loss back in January.

Daphne's loss dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Fairhope, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-6.

Daphne does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fairhope, they will face off against Florence on February 27th.
