Softball Recap: Hazen Bison vs. Heart River co-op [Belfield/South Heart] Cougars
Hazen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Heart River co-op [Belfield/South Heart] Cougars, falling 17-7. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bison of the 22-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.
Elliot Myklebust made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Alissa Johnson, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one triple.
