Basketball Recap: Sanford Comes Up Short

Sanford lost against Portland back in January of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Sanford Spartans fell 63-54 to the Portland Bulldogs. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sanford now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Portland, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sanford will venture away from home to challenge Biddeford at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Portland, they will take on Lewiston at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
