Baseball Recap: El Camino Colts vs. Capuchino Mustangs
El Camino had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Capuchino Mustangs. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.
Carlos Alcala made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Adrian I?iguez, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.
El Camino has already played their next contest, a 7-2 defeat against Carlmont on the 28th. As for Capuchino, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 16-1 victory against Evergreen Valley on the 26th.
