Football Recap: Weir Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Weir extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 17 on Friday, dropping them down to 0-8. They were beaten by the Albert Gallatin Colonials 34-6. The Red Riders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 20-0.

As for Albert Gallatin, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-0. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their offensive performance: the team's won by an average of 26.1 points thus far.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Albert Gallatin to victory, but perhaps none more so than Bronx Jamison, who rushed for 124 yards and a pair of scores on only 11 carries. What's more, Jamison posted two rushing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in September of 2024. Tee Guesman also helped out as he racked up 132 rushing yards.

Looking ahead, Weir will square off against Brooke at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Albert Gallatin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
