Soccer Recap: Spring Valley Comes Up Short

Spring Valley came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Arlington Admirals. While losing is never fun, Spring Valley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 411th, while Arlington are ranked 185th).

Spring Valley's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-8-1. As for Arlington, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.

Coming up, Spring Valley will head out to challenge Ramapo at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Arlington, they will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Pawling at 4:30 p.m.
