Kamiakin piles up the points against Hanford

Recap: Kamiakin Braves vs. Hanford Falcons

The Kamiakin Braves stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They claimed a resounding 65-36 win over Hanford on the road. The win was nothing new for Kamiakin as they're now sitting on 11 straight.

Kamiakin's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aubrie Herrin, who scored 13 points along with eight assists and five rebounds. That's the first time this season that Herrin posted eight or more assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Emaunii Smith, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds.

Kamiakin pushed their record up to 12-1 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Hanford, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Kamiakin will be playing at home against Hermiston at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday. Hermiston has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 406 points over their last six games. As for Hanford, they will head out on the road to challenge Kennewick at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday. Kennewick presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Hanford in Washington (Kennewick is ranked 40th, while Hanford is ranked 212th).
