Volleyball Recap: York's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, York couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Washington Academy Raiders by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Raiders earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Washington Academy found their leader in freshman Riley Shimabukuro, who had ten digs and two assists.

York moved to 15-2 with that defeat, which also ended their four-match winning streak. As for Washington Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-1.
