Basketball Recap: Environmental Charter Hawks vs. Monessen Greyhounds
Environmental Charter lost against Monessen back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Environmental Charter Hawks had to suffer through a 76-49 loss at the hands of the Monessen Greyhounds. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 697th, while the Greyhounds are ranked 296th).
Environmental Charter's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tobias Howard, who posted 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Hurst, who scored ten points.
