Baseball Recap: Catoosa Comes Up Short

Catoosa's last matchup with Verdigris could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Tuesday. The Indians came up short against the Cardinals, falling 12-2. The Indians' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Catoosa saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tanner Fultz, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Catoosa now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Verdigris, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Catoosa will welcome Tulsa NOAH HomeSchool at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Verdigris, they will host Adair at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
