Volleyball Game Preview: Hughson Huskies vs. Sierra Timberwolves + How To Watch

The Hughson Huskies will challenge the Sierra Timberwolves at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Hughson has three straight victories, Sierra has six straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Hughson had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Orestimba on Thursday. The Huskies put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 3-0 win. The Huskies not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 30th (when they won 3-0).

Hughson walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-21, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Sierra came up short against Oakdale on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

While Sierra ultimately came up short, they really made Oakdale work, particularly in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-22, 22-25, 25-15, 27-25.

Sierra's defeat dropped their record down to 10-17. As for Hughson, their win bumped their record up to 23-9.
