Basketball Recap: Gavin Chance and Will Dowdy Secure Win for Harvest Christian Academy

There's no place like home for Harvest Christian Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 39-32 victory over the Alliance Christian Academy Knights on Monday. The score was all tied up 13-13 at the break, but the Saints were the better team in the second half.

Harvest Christian Academy was led to victory by Will Dowdy and Gavin Chance. Dowdy went 5-for-10 to rack up 10 points in addition to eight boards and five blocks, while Chance almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds. Chance is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last five games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Jakson Nelson, who posted six points.

Harvest Christian Academy now has a winning record of 2-1.
