Basketball Recap: Wilsonville Piles Up the Points Against Summit

It's playoff time, and Wilsonville had no trouble coming through when it counted. They claimed a resounding 73-41 victory over the Summit Storm. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Leading Wilsonville to victory were Gabi Moultrie and Audrey Counts. Moultrie shot 60% from beyond the arc to rack up 30 points along with five rebounds and four steals, while Counts went 8-for-17 en route to 18 points in addition to eight boards and three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Moultrie has scored at least a third of Wilsonville's points. Another player making a difference was Fareeda ElManhawy, who posted nine points and seven boards.

Wilsonville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.8 points over those games. Summit's loss dropped their record down to 20-8.

As of now, neither Wilsonville nor Summit have any future games scheduled.
