Basketball Recap: Beacon Comes Up Short

On Wednesday, the Beacon Blue Demons were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 59-55 to Scholars Academy.

Beacon's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Scholars Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Beacon nor Scholars Academy have any future games scheduled.
