Baseball Recap: Elk Grove Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Elk Grove's offense. They lost 12-0 to the Fremd Vikings on Friday. The game snapped a strange streak: the last five times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Elk Grove dropped their record down to 8-19 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Fremd, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 25-1-1.
