Soccer Game Preview: Gloucester vs. Warwick

The Gloucester Dukes will venture away from home to take on the Warwick Raiders at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Gloucester is likely headed into the matchup with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Smithfield last Thursday. The Dukes fell just short of the Packers by a score of 1-0. The loss continues a trend for Gloucester in their meetings with Smithfield: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Warwick's offense. They lost 8-0 to Menchville last Tuesday.

Gloucester's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Warwick, they now have a losing record of 1-2-1.

Gloucester took their victory against Warwick in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 4-1 score. Will the Dukes repeat their success, or do the Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
