Soccer Recap: West Comes Up Short

West fought the good fight in their overtime match against Skyline on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 3-2. If West were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to Skyline when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Anthony Pimentel and Am Sang scored both of West's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

West's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Skyline, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-4.

Coming up, Skyline will challenge Alta at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. West will be paying especially close attention to the Eagles' contest: after the Eagles face off against the Hawks, they'll take on West again at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
