Templeton had to endure an eight-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They skirted past the Lompoc Braves 10-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted against the Braves since March 12, 2022.

Emma Kriling was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. Ella Acosta also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

The victory was their first on the road, bumping their record up to 5-19-1. As for Lompoc, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season.

Templeton and Lompoc could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Eagles (ranked 554th) will meet St. Joseph (ranked 22nd) at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Lompoc will square off against Righetti at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday with a big rank disadvantage (401 vs. 111).
